Yes I'm aware of that. My point was that with a taller sidewall, there is more room, and thus the sidewall is at less of an angle going from the wide tread of a 235 tire to the narrow 7" rim. What i'm saying is hard to describe but it makes sense. Check tire size sheets and you will see this. A 235 tire with 40 profile is recommended for a thinner wheel than 235-45. (these numbers are just an example. I'm not looking at the sheet right now, I saw it earlier today.)
