hey slickismax
Here you go! I went out to the garage and snapped some pics with the digi cam! I used rain gutter gaurd from Home Depot. It was $1.25 a sheet, and I used 4 sheets to do the SMX grill, the bumper holes, and the fog light holes. I cut away all the black plastic pieces that were attached to the bumper, like where the license plate attaches, and then I used bondo-glass and applied it to the backside to hold the mesh on. Look at the bottom picture to see what I mean. I think that fiberglass meshing would adhere better. The bondo-glass is a little difficult to get to stick to the polyurethane that the bumper is made of. The bondo-glass costs about $7 for a can. You also have to cut back the styrofoam piece that the bumper cover rests on. The styrofoam has a section that extends to the front of the bumper in between the two holes. I just cut it back about 1" on that entire section. You'll see what i mean when you take the bumper cover off. Here's some pics!
(Don't mind the PA speaker in the pass. fog light hole..hehe)

Here's one from the backside of the bumper. The weird black looking thing at the top is the styrofoam that I cut back and then painted black. Its really hard to cut styrofoam when your jigsaw is messed up!

few mo questions
a. i've got a manual so i have ins on taking off front bumper, but how diff is it? Advice?
b. is the wire mesh secured by the styrofoam at the top side of the bumper cover?
c. does it rattle or make annoying noise?
Thanks for the info. I know the product you used. I searched it out once before for a grille job on my old neon rt but sold the car before i ever did it. Cool to find out i was on the right track.
