Oil Cooler Filter Question

I was wondering which oil cooler kit, other than Stillen, would allow you to use the OEM Nissan Filter. Apparently most kits use a Ford sized filter.

Kevin why would you want a cooler that uses a stock filter which is a bit small vice using one that has a bigger filter wouldnt a bigger filter be better?

I feel that the OEM Nissan Filter is of high quality. I saw the comparision of the Fram and OEM filter sliced open and components compared. They are relatively inexpensive and I have 5 in my garage. I stocked up when my local dealership was offering them for $3 a piece. The general size of the filter I think is fine. Anything larger, I'd feel would compromise the pressure or vaccuum of the oil returning from the filter. I know the Stillen kit allows you to reuse the OEM filter, and I doubt Stillen fabricates this piece. I'm wondering if they have theirs made by one of the top manufactuers.

Why are you stuck with this Fram comparisson? Many different manufactures make the size filter that fits the perma cool universal coolers...

You might want to try the B&M cooler as well:

It's cuz I have 5 OEM Nissan Oil Filters. I was just trying to say I'm very comfortable and pleased with the OEM filters in filtration and size.
