I wanna paint my tail lights exactly like this on my 2k1:


What would be the process to get this painted? I wanna get a shop to do the custom work but the one I spoke to wouldn't do it I just don't want them to melt or anything. How much should I expect to pay for something like this?

 

i've seen 2 5th gens at a local dealer with that done...im guess they're tail light covers that are painted...that's what it looked like to me

 

I thought that too by the pics but they are actually painted. A few guys have it. I think the look better than the 2k2 lights.
