Emission Test

Sup guys,

I'm going for my inspection pretty soon and i wanna know if having an intake and just exhust muffler will affect the emission test? Should i take it out or no. I don't have a y-pipe or a new cat, just stock. The only thing i change was a new intake and muffler.

Naw, you are fine unless your state has some type of visual inspection

What would he fail if it had a visual inspection? I mean just the muffler is not illegal right?

I passed in MA on the dyno with a popcharger installed no problem. Readings were way below the limit (very strict here) and the guy popped the hood, so I'm sure he say the popcharger. Never said a word about it.

I passed in CA with ypipe muffler and cone intake and the only thing he said was that I needed to have my air temp sensor pluged in which I had zip tied somewhere else and thats all
