NOS or a 12 inch Sub

This question has been bothering me since day one, which should I get, I already have all the bolt on but I can't choose which to get NOS or the sub. I have the Bose system which isn't to bad, but I would like some more bass. On the other hand I could get NOS and own everyone over in my area. and be the only one at my school with it.

NOS would be a 50 shot dry-$300(dont ask)
or a Alpine R12 W/JLB 1200 watt amp going to it.

So gimme your opions and I shall make a choose which it will be. thanks!

Do you want speed or sound?

I would go with NOS but have no plans to upgrade my stock stero.

When your burn everyone on the road with that NOS kit you won't care about the sub, or at least I wouldn't.

I would go with Nitrousif you want speed but if your into sound, get the sub. Its all down to which you want more. I was into stereos & competed but now into speed.

i have a sub and its awesome, but i don't think changing the sub is enough if your gonna add bass do it the right way and put in a whole new system, since you can get your nos kit for $300 or even for $500 go the NOS route

Sounds like this may be the last word

If you use nos and set your car properly, AND do NOT abuse it, that would be the route to go.

However how can people see the fly ride when JOO own dem?

i just put 2 10" alpine subs in my car, and let me tell you, driving is now super fun, because i can use the subs all day. NOS is all good if you race a whole lot, but subs are more practical. id go with subs.

i dissagree true NOS is cheaper than a turbo or a SC set up thats why the power isn't always there. but you do have the option of turning it on when you need it. there nothing wrong with hitting the bottle.
