i read the manual and it says 92 is good for performance but than it says 87 is ok too. Sometimes i experience knocks using 87 and i was wondering what everyone els uses or recommends?

 

stick with premium!!

when you put in lower octane, the detonation sensor will sense the engine knock (pinging), thus, retarding the timing. When this is done, you LOSE hp! Put the recommended fuel in or you'll be slower than a Civic (*gasp*).. just kidding.. you won't be that slow LOL
