I’m currently trying to find a leak in my maxima and I found this part that could maybe be the culprit. It’s right between the valve cover with the oil cap and timing chain cover. It looked like the bolts could have have some liquid coming out of them. I’m not entirely sure that it is though since i don’t even know what the part is. Any help would be appreciated.

There is a metal gasket under it and oil flows in and out of the actuator.

You may also have a valve cover gasket leak, super common. Also being right next to the oil fill doesn't help. Clean everything up first.
