What are the best spark plugs?

Hey all,
I was wondering if anyone had opinions on what are the best spark plugs to use, considering performance, long life, etc...

Ditto, stock ones from the Nissan dealer. Will run you about $50-$60, hopefully shipped.

(Was covered in the Maintenance FAQ we all miss )

extreme nissan sells them for $6 a piece and $4 for shipping. I got them for $40 shipped. They made a post in the for sale or group deals section a while back. Its a great deal.

NGK coppers will work just fine and are MUCH less expensive than the platinums. ~$2 each. They wont last nearly as long as the plats, mabye 20k miles. Their is no performance gain with plats over coppers.

why?

I'd spend the extra $2 a pop, and not worry about changing it every year, that's just me though.

It depends on how much you drive and how long you plan on having the car.

Or in my case I go through a set of plugs every six months for tuning.

And wouldnt it be $4 a pop?

Do you know which ones are 2 heat ranges colder than stock? I'm running Denso Iridium's now, but they're the stock heat range, and not really good for the SC. Plus I don't want to get more Iridiums' or Platinums for the same reason as you, I'm going to hook the juice back up soon, and don't want to start burning through $12 plugs while messing around.

NGK 6097 bkr7e........you don't want 2 lower though unless you have a s/c with some good boost.

If you want the cheapest option, just go with Autolite regular copper plugs...about $1 each. Maybe not a long term solution but cheap to play around with.

#3924 stock heat range
#3923 one heat range colder
#3922 two heat ranges colder
