I am able to get the Akebono pads, too, but I must warn you.. they aren't cheap! When I heard the prices I'm like "no thanks, I'll keep selling the Axxis"

Phuong, when I looked up the price I saw that they were the same $45 for both. I think i got the Axxis for like $35 last year. But I was wondering if they are any better compared to the Axxiz pads?

for the front.. that's almost 2X the price of the Axxis pads. Akebono aren't really performance pads.. more towards stock replacement. From what I've heard, they make the pads for some of the car manuf. I haven't verified this, though.

Nissan owns % of Akebono

Thought that name looked familiar. Nissan owns a stake in Akebono brakes. Read the Nov 16th Wall Street Journal article on Nissan (it is on the front page, first article in the leftmost column)

if it's a 4th gen Max, the front are $25 and the rear are $38, plus $6-7 shipping.
