Saw a new NOS product recently...

It allows you to add Direct Port Nitrous without plumbing your intake manifold. I saw the setup on a writeup of a 'rustang. Basically, it's an add on piece you put underneath your stock injector, and they use high pressure PLASTIC lines to run the fuel and nitrous. Not sure if they will come out with a kit compatable for the Maxima. The rustang required an adapter plate to make room for the insert injectors, and I saw a writeup in Turbo magazine that said the kit's would come with spacers to raise the fuel rail, but not sure if that would work on a Maxima or not...
In unrelated news, I also saw a fully adjustable add-on VB for an AMC, my question is, why can't we have something cool like that for our cars?!

Hot Rod Magazine

I saw that in Hot Rod last month, the NOSzle I think it was called. Added like 150hp and 200lb-ft of torque or something incredible like that. Supposed to be a much simpler wet-flow system.

Re: Hot Rod Magazine

Yeah, that's what they were calling it. They used a 150 shot jetting, which is why they got such a jump in power. If they came out with a six cylinder application, and a way to make it fit under the Max's fuel rail, then I won't have to bend all this stupid pipe this summer....

I started a thread about this a month or so ago adn someone (Da-Max maybe?) told me it was like 1200$ or something rediculous like that. I'm lazy enough to wanna try this, but not THAT lazy (or rich).

$1200!!! Now that would suck, I'm not that lazy (or rich) either, that deffinetly would not be worth it... but if all you need are the nozzles and a fuel solenoid... I already have the rest...

I doubt NOS would be able to profit from a single-stage wet-flow system with a $1200 price tag. Even with plastic hoses.

So while we're on this topic, approxamately how much would a 50-70 shot dry N02 systems cost me with Window Switch, remote opening mechanism, and heater?

Is there anything I'm missing that I would also need? Mtrai, help me out here....school me.

Thanks,
IanS
