2nd time at the track with my 5spd

A few of us went to Steele last night. Track sucked anyway you looked at it. Too many cars, not very organized, traction problems up the waazzooo. Everyone seemed to be running crap times. But in the end it was all worth it because I broke into the 14's!!!

I ran a 14.954. Time slip is in my sig.

Now it is time for a Y-pipe, B-pipe, and a few other mods.

Good job! I couldn't get into the 14's until my third track visit. But it's always so hot and humid in Florida, it makes it even more difficult. What was the approximate temperature when you ran?
Good RT time too.

You might be looking at mid 14's when you get the rest of your mods

Thanks, I was doing fairly well on my reaction times, had several .5's during the night.

I believe 96Sleeper told me the humidity was around 90%?? lol That really sucked, and the temperature was around 40 degrees.

FYI, on that 14.9 run, I was squealing my tires all the way through 1st and 1/4 the way through second. Like I said above, TRACTION SUCKED!! lol But, practice makes perfect... so got lots more to do. Just happy to be in the 14's.

Yep, that ****ed me off too. The right lane had been having problems with posting mph all night. Some runs it would, and some runs it wouldn't. Was a bunch of crap. But at least it gave me everything else lol.
