Just a general question here:
Let's say I am at a light getting ready to race someone.
I have an auto...should I just floor it? Should I put it in 1st then switch to D? Should I take O/D off?
Anyone know for sure or have a proven method?
I haven't raced anyone yet but I sure as hell plan on doing it. Just want to be prepared and know the correct use of the Auto tranny.

Thanks,
Roman

Just floor it... O/D, manual shifting etc... doens't do too much on the street... you might want to brake torque, step on brake and gas at same time, to about 2000rpm.... but just floor it.

Then again, I don't recommend racing on the streets. Actually I am very against it.
