17" Stock 2000 Maxima Rims totally messed up...

From the time I got my car my rims where scratched like crazy. My car was a recovered theft and well I had to deal with it. My 2 front rims are ok except a big a$$ scratch on the right one smack in the center. The 2 rear rims are totally messed up. I attached 1 pic to show how bad they really are. I heard about dipping but thats mad expensive (200 a rim?). I tried everything, I mean I clean them every 3 or 4 days so they look at least .0000000001 decent but its mad annoying. Can anyone recommend anything?

i'm sure you can sell you to someone and then turn around and buy some new ones. There's always 17" rims for sale in the 'for sale' forum .

$$ is always a problem, however there is a 50/50 chance i might get new ones from a friend, he said 300 for 4 new rims and tires, no other comments needed he's just a good pal...but im not 100% sure

Buy the new rims and take the old tires off the messed up ones...make them a project and try to refinish them yourself...don't forget to degrease them good and use plenty of coats of clear on your final color coat...sounds like a good project to me.

you might be able to get them powdercoated silver again. shouldn't be too much. 50 a rim AT the worst. should be less.
