Uh-Oh...I have a bubble in my tire!
Is it okay to drive with it? The rim is fine, but there is a definitely a little bubble in the tire. Is there any way to fix it and how much should it cost?
Thanks,
Cyrus

Especially if it is on the sidewall.

BTW, what tire make is it so I know what to avoid? My dad used to have firestones which did that soon after he purchased it and they refused to replace it saying such a defect can result from driving conditions or behavior. What crap!

just went through this....
A ~1 year old Goodyear tire on mh wife's accord developed a bubble on the side. Had 10,000 miles on the tire. The Goodyear dealer gave us a new tire for $20.00. What they do is look inside the tire and if it looks like a flaw in the tire (as opposed to you hitting a pot hole and braking the belt) then they only charge you for the "used" portion of the tire,ie they pro-rate the new tire.

I have, I think, a similar problem with one tire. They are on my stock rims right now for winter. I can feel the rear driver side of the car shake up and down and is directly proportional to the rotation of the tire. The tires are Cooper Cobra. I do not have original reciept, so I am wondering if it will be covered!
