Nos and 44v batteries

Was talking to my mechanic the other day and he was telling me about a new wet NOS kit that hooks up directly underneath the fuel injectors. On a mustang the a 150 shot produced 149.6 hp and over 200lbs of additional torque. I tried looking for more information about this kit but couldn't find anything. Maybe one of you guys know more about this than me. It would be nice if they came out with a smaller shot version for the maxima since I like the design of this kit.

We also discussed future automotive engineering and he was telling me about the switch to 12v to 44v batteries. Meaning cars could then use thinner wires and eventually the engines themselves would be all electronic. Valves opening and closing would be electronic, no more cam shafts, no more belts to drive the a/c and accessories etc. What does this mean? More HP and viritually endless options to custom tune your car. All this for 2004-5. The only problem that engineers are running into are the crazy arcs that these batteries produce, and when there is a bad or loose connection in the wiring system it gets totally fried, potentially making for a dangerous situation with fires and all. These future engines wouldn't be 100% efficient but a whole lot better than now. Imagine 350hp maximas stock.

Note it'll be 30+ years before the cars that we know of today will eventually start to be phased out but there's gonna be some kickbutt cars available in 2005. Can't wait.

ANyways thought i'd throw this discussion out there in case anyone knows more information. Thought it was a neat topic.

No because it was a mechanic who told him, not God.

The NOS kit is true. I saw an article on it about 3-6 months ago. Supposedly, it was supposed to be THE **** for Hondas. All I can remember about it is the NOS was injected right below the injectors. A quote from the article was "All the power of a wet system with the safety of a dry setup". The kit was supposedly going to run around $600-1,200. I tried to find the link to the article but I can't seem to pull it up.

It's called NOSzle, it's a direct-port system that's cheaper and installs (I think) under the Intake manifold, not the injectors. Yes the power figures are correct for the Mustang. Hot Rod did a story about 2/3 months ago. We had a thread on this last week. I think it was under "New NOS products" or something similar.

So... I'm guessing the fuel runs through the N2O injectors and mixes there? I don't have a copy on hand so I'm at a loss for reference, but on the Mustang it appeared they removed the intake manifold and installed underneath it. Like a plate-fogger system for each port.
