Cheaper than what it goes for, sorry for not being clear

Even on ebay it goes for $135+s/h from what i've seen the last couple of days. Not much cheaper than buying direct.

I'll check out the other forum. Thanks.

Forget the G-Tech...

Get an AP-22. Just like a G-Tech except it runs off a 9volt, fits in a din, looks sweet, and can connect to a computer. Unfortunately you can only get it from www.CB-Racing.com , but its still less than the new G-Tech (if Wicked's price is correct).

Re: Forget the G-Tech...

I don't know what new Gtech wicked is talking about, but my older Gtech works pretty well. The AP-22 Performance Meter looks really cool but at $250 it's pretty pricey.
I wanted a Gtech to play with, but really it's only useful as a reference tool in your own vechicle. Numbers will vary a lot if you try to compare with other owners. I got my Gtech from the WTB forum about 3 weeks ago for $70 bucks so thats a good place to start If you buy an older Gtech with one suction cup (like mine) just go to Home Depot and buy some new medium suction cups for ~$1.30.

The last time I looked on gtech's website, it said new model for old price. Is there another model? The one advertised is $139.95.

What's the diff between the old and new Gtechs? Just suction cups? Tried looking on their site but it kind a sucks. They have very little info and nothing on what's new between old and new.

Actually I have a Pro but I just didnt say that I didnt even know if there was a non Pro. As far as I know nigel the newer Gtechs have 2 smaller suction cups instead of 1 big one. I don't know if the hardware changed any

the new one is accurate to 1/100 of a second.
it also shows hp, torque, and Gs graphs.
it also has a traction and corning light to indicate traction loss, rpm sensing cability, and an intelligent shift light that tells you when to shift for maximum performance plus all the other features.
you can also store over an hour of data for playback.
plus it looks really nice...

That sounds really nice, but is it even available for sale? Their website doesn't show anything and it seems like they would want to promote it
