set some people straight

I wasn't going to waste my time posting to set him straight, but I figured someone might want to.

nicely done

maybe somone should add that since the max still had plastic plates it more than likely wasn't broken in, so either
a) the driver of the max didn't slam on the gas as the guy said
or
b) the driver of the max is an idiot that doesn't know how to drive b/c anyone that does wouldn't do that to a brand new car

not needed, I think my post will shake them up enuf without anything else. I'm not going to use speculation in my argument when I can win it with proof

I posted there as well. I was kind of upset that they were getting mad because people were coming in from other forums to post on 'their' board. Who cares if we/they do? We're all car enthusiasts, right?

BTW, the one guy complaining about this was talking about his buddies "98 or 99 6-speed maxima"

I'm guessing the 7MGTE engine is from a MK3 Generation Supra. Now if i'm correct then this guy has one fast car. I used to own an 85 Supra and I can tell you from experience that this car is no joke. It's very fast stock; not as fast as a 2k2 Maxima, but fast. Now if you drop a MK3 Supra turbo engine w/mods in to that car then I say that it could have very well beat a 2k2 Maxima. I know most of you don't think it's possible, but I beg to differ. Anyways just my 2 cents.

Stock, MK3 supra turbos are not very fast. 240 hp, but they weigh 3600 lbs. A stock 5 speed 4th or 5th gen could take one, stock for stock.

Yea stock ones run mid to high 15s. I killed on at the track, and on brackets I had too much slip off the line and he barely beat me when he had a good 1 sec head start!

I agree much respect to any supra and their engines whether old or new.
