want to get steel brake lines

want to get steel brake lines

anybody do just this and was it worth it as far as cost and stopping powers?

well if you arent road racing, autoXing ALOT, or your stock lines aren't messed up, you dont need them. They increase pedal feel by now allowing expansion of the lines since they are steel instead of rubber like the stock rubber ones. If you just want improved braking performance forego the lines and invest in some good pads.

If you plan on keeping the car you may as well get steel lines. I put in slotted rotors, speed bleeders, SS lines, and Axxis Metal Masters. If I had to do it again I would probably try out the Axxis Ultimate pads, but then again they might be more expensive. I was on a budget and got it all for $500.

how much do you like it?

i am thinking about a complete brake upgrade, but only one thing at a time. and reccomendations for the pads.
