Anyone have some left over header wrap that they can let go of?? I don't want to buy 50 ft of that stuff just for an experiment of mine. I gonna wrap the flex section of my Y to try and quiet it down. I think it's leaking because there is a loud rumble emanating from under the car. But instead of wrapping the flex directly, I want to apply the wrap to a piece of curved tin(both sides) Then use that to cover the flex section. I'll use two hose clamps to keep it tight. I don't want to permanately apply the wrap to the flex section because of the rust potential and Jet hot coating. But it's not like the cattman Y is under warranty anymore though..

I doubt it. I've been under the car plenty of times before. But since I got those ball/socket joints on either end of my RT cat, I haven't been under the car. It start RIGHT after the exhaust place did the work. But I doubt they screwed up the flex becuase although they had to cut off the Y outlet flange, they shouldn't have had to mess w/ the flex. I'll have to creep under there this weekend or something. Hey I replied to your email.

hrmm... I wonder if they tightened it too much. I know I've over tighten things down there before and it got loud... the Cat bolts on hondas are spring loaded, to help keep things in place. Tightened it too much once cause since it's spring loaded you never really can tell when it's tight. But then... things started to rattle... losen it.. problem went away.
