Re: Re: Gas price check.....
It's like airline tickets, no one understands it, but we all gripe about it.
For people like me who do not put on the miles, it makes little difference, but people who are commuting 150-200 miles a day, it adds up.

That's weird, I've never heard that before. Andy rooney said he drives from CT to NJ to get gas. Funny that you'd be that cheap when you make millions! We cry about 50 cents per gallon tax on fuel. What is it in Québec, easily more than what we pay for the entire gallon they pay in taxes alone. What, 64.9 cents CDN per liter? I usually don't care I just pump it, what ya gonna do, not return the rental full?
We pay 1.159 for 93 on Tue for Texaco. What a ultimate rip off when we can buy 87 for 1.019 everyday. But when you look closer, the dealers in NJ are cheesier than PA, because the tax is 14.5 cents and 26.6 cents per gallon respectively. Fed adds another 18.4. We never can buy gas in South Jersey for 12 cents less, and in northern NJ it's actually more than Philly. Supply and demand peoples. Anyway, gas is about 6 cents more than when it hit bottom. People are spending $150+ per tire on this forum, what's up with 6 cents?

Here in Bergen County, im spending 1.73 - 1.75 for premium (93). It kills me whenever I fill up my tank, since I usually wait till the last minute. Well those SUV's are getting what they have comin , that makes me feel better knowing my $26 is $60 for their suburban assault vehecle.
