Went Out Street Racing With an '02 WRX, Modded S4, and a Modded Passat!!!
Last night was awesome! I was at the track and met up with my friend who just got a WRX a month or 2 ago. He ran a best of 14.4@93. I couldn't get any better than a 14.5, but I ran in the 14.5's every time. There was a chipped S4 with an exhaust as well that ran a 13.6, and his friend had a VW Passat that was chipped and also had an exhaust that ran 14.6's. Well after the track closed, we went out street racing in a deserted area and did some roll-ons. Obviously the S4 smoked us all, but he was a cool guy. The Passat and I were a good match. From 40, he would pull half a length until 90 and then I would walk him slowly till we left off around 120 with me about 1 & 1/2 car lengths ahead. The WRX and I were a pretty good race, although I would pull him by about 2 lengths to 120. The WRX and the Passat were the best match. The Passat would pull the WRX until 60, then the WRX would pull, then the Passat would pull till 110, and then the WRX would even it up by 110 but never had anything after that. I was happy with my car's performance being the only NA car and beating 2 out of 3 turbo cars. Before we went out street racing each other, we cruised the usual spot and pulled into a parking lot with a bunch of ricers just standing around talking. None of them knew what any of our cars were
Four very fast 4-door sedans come cruising up and none of the rice boys thought we had anything. The fastest car they had ran a 15.8 and they repeatedly bragged about how fast it was and acted as if we were all 17-second cars.

Cool, that's what I like to do.. get together with a few people with nice cars and have fun. It's nice to chat cars without bashing each other.
What mods is in your Supra? A local guy owned the "One Lap Of America" Supra with the single HKS turbo. Here is a picture of it along with many other Supra. I used to own a 87 Turbo and we used to go for 'fun runs' every summer.
