Maxima Lease
My brother went to a Nissan Dealership in Brooklyn and they quoted him $280 a month for a fully loaded 2002 Maxima GLE with 10,000 annual miles. Are they asking too much?

280 is a great price for that car but what are the hidden factors. How much does he have to put down for that price and does it include tax and all the fees. Also 10,000 miles is not very much at all.Thats only 192 miles per week which I can do on a nice weekend. All depends on his commute to work, hobbies and driving habit. If his commute to work/school is 20,30,40 miles one way than it adds up real fast and they get you for 15cents per mile over that 10,000 when and if you turn it in.If he has a short commute and doesn't travel that much annualy than a lease is perferct for him.Gets a great car and saves money too.I leased my 2002 because I only travel 2 miles to work and rent cars when doing lots of long distance trips so its great for me.Just take thoes factors into play and see how it adds up.Well good luck.

Sounds like a 60 month lease to me. The selling price of my 2K2 SE was $23,411. I was $2280 in the hole on my trade in, which put me at about $25,700 ... which happens to be the invoice price of a loaded 2K2 GLE. I only put $500 down, everything else rolled in, and 15K miles/year. My lease payments are $410/mo for 48 months. So if the offer is $280/mo, then there is either lots of money down, or it's a 60 or 66 month lease, or both! Or else the car has been a demo.
