Quote of the month from salesman @ Nissan Dealership

Saturday I went out to test drive the 6sp. The salesman told me this was his 1st week. So I am driving the car and It was obvious I was having a good time and making occasional comments about the torque and the clutch. So he decides to start his sales pitch. "Well you know this is RWD" he noticed the (you are a complete idiot look I gave him) an then followed up with ....isn't it? I replied with No not quite, but that is wishful thinking.

Performance Nissan Stone Mountain GA

The 2K2 6sp is great but I still have some love for my "old" lightly modded VQ 5sp.

ciao

That's hilarious man, and you would think they educate and train their employees before putting them to work. Or they can just hire a normal person who knows these simple things in life.

Sprint, it is 5 minutes from Snellville....

If you are IT contact me I am a Technical Recruiter, I see the market is slowly picking up here. Remember the cost of living in CT (or is it RI) is more than GA. BTW my Max came from CT and all the rust on the the underbody is just..........nasty

I always wondered how you guys got people's office numbers. I'm guessing directories of prof. organizations and maybe magazine/journal subscriptions. It does seem to be picking up because I'm getting more headhunter calls than a year ago. Cost of living in CT is a bit more alright, like I said my buddy spent more than 250,000 on his house and it's only 1 1/2 bath. He said one-bedrooms go for around 1700 in nice complexes, though that's a far-cry from the 4300/month I once did midtown. In Philly you could get an awesome apartment for 4300/month.

I bought my car new from New York and it was already rusted underneath the bumpers at 0 miles.

We have our ways

Actually as I am sure you know the market is so different than it was 2 years ago. 2 years ago you guys called all the shots and a good recruiter had to cater and be persuasive to land the best consultants now we are able to pick and choose. Things will never be as good as they were then thing can only get better now. Yeah the rust is nasty fortunately I won't have the salt to deal with here.

its not NY its the salt from being on the boat so long.. sea air = salt.. just like if you live near the coast.. like say miami near the beach.. your car will rust also.. the dealer should have prep the car properly

i remember when i went to test drive the altima to get my free gift(which i got btw, nice watch), anyways, i was driving the altima when the sales rep told me about the awesome deal they had on their last "255HP 5SPEED A/E MAX"!!!! i gave him that same idiot look, but he insisted it was 255hp, until we got back to the dealership, when i showed him the sticker that said 227hp. what did he reply? i am new, its only been a couple weeks, blah blah, still not an excuse.

don't let them pull that BS on you.. every dealership has monthly sometimes weekely.. sometimes by weekly meetings to update sales reps on trends, future and blah blah blah.. they do know whats going on.. they just pull that BS to try and sell you the car..

Ask Bluefish .. he will tell you.. all sales reps know everythign about the car.. they are not stupid.. they are just trying to pull one over your head to let you buy the car.. and you will be suprised how many suckers they get like that..

actually, i wouldn't be so surprised if someone took the words of the salesperson and bought a car(like the 255hp 2k1 AE max ) the second i hear a bunch of idiocy like that from a sales rep, i leave, i can't stand it when people try to BS me, or when they patronize me, "you are right sir, it is 227hp, you know your cars". i know there must be a lot of people, desperate to buy a car, who will listen to, and pay, whatever dealer wants, its sad
