Surprise from a Celica GTS and fun with a GS400

On the way to the shop this morning, on I-75N from Brandon, I run up on a Celica GTS with wild graphics, obviously modded. To what degree its's modded, I don't know. It has a crap load of gauges and interior work, exhaust, etc. So I'm just rolling behind him for a couple miles at around 80. Suddenly, he drops gears, exhaust roars and he's pulling away. I wait 3 seconds and decide, "why not?" I decide to just mash the pedal while remaining in 5th. Much to my surprise, I walk him down in a hurry (without even downshifting). By the time I pass, he's looking over in digust and shuts down.

Meanwhile, I'm not sure if we passed him, or if he was already on his way, but an older gentleman in a GS400 with what appeared to be Greddy exhaust rolls up on us. Traffic soon clears and we're off. I'm good with him from 80 to about 110-115. Then he just starts leaving. The Celica had no chance. In fact, we never saw him again. After slowing for traffic, another opening presents itself. I get the jump this time due to my crafty lane changing, but by 125, he's pulling on me again, smiling.

DAM*, I MISS BOOST!!! Not for long though. It'll be back very shortly.
It was a good ride this morning though.

Nope. It was sliver with what appeared to be 17" OEM chrome wheels.

Mark Tozer's GS would leave ANY maxima in a hurry. There would be no "hanging with him." The car would be gone.

Mark's car is nothing compared to the guy at Swift Racing's GS.

Try a SC'd GS with over 700rwhp. 0-60 in under 4s and 1/4's in the high 11's - low 12's.
