Yes, I have posted this link before. It is part of the maintenance sticky post for 4th gens, which is currently being re-constructed.

I'm considering putting that in the Oil Analysis sticky.....

How does the Nissan OEM filter stands ...

... against all those filters? And where can I acquire a STP filter?

STP filters are available at Auto Zone. Here are the only links I've ever found comparing Nissan oil filters. Some are Nissan-friendly, but all of them have usefull information.

http://www.motorvate.ca/auto/maxima/...oil_filter.htm

http://www.nissanecenter.com/customer.htm

Hope this helps.
