Major Engine Malfuntion soon after Intake was Installed!!!
i need help! today i installed my addco RSB and pop charger with the help of a friend. it was running absolutely great with better engine response and that growling honking chicken on crack sound at high rpm. however, later this evening the car stalled on the highway doing 50mph. i was on my way back home from work. the temp out was 38 degrees i think. engine not fully warmed when it happened. i know its not a mechanical engine malfunction, because it's never missed a rev until the cone filter was installed! the engine will not rev past 2,500 rpm..the check engine light is on now. could it be my mass airflow sensor gone awry with the cold air? what do i do now? i had to limp the car home...

Check to make sure the harness connection to the MAF sensor is tight. You might have bump it loose during the pop charger install. Reset your ECU.

problem corrected (so far)
i started her right up this morning and it ran fine. the check engine light was still on so i resetted the ecu following directions on a FAQ. i also installed my front strut tower bar today and noticed yet another improvement in handling. the body ridgidity is noticeable in steering. so far so good. thanks 1max.
