Wide Open Throttle Anonymous

Do you drop the pedal down at every opportunity?

Is an open freeway ramp your best friend?

Must you be first in line at all red lights?

Does your gas mileage reside in the teens?

If so, you may be a candidate for WOTA.

There is a 12 step progrem for people like us. I am down to the last two steps. You have completed the most important step. Admit you have a problem!

Do you drop the pedal down at every opportunity?
--- If I'm by myself, yes.

Is an open freeway ramp your best friend?
--- Most definitely.

Must you be first in line at all red lights?
--- I try to be.

Does your gas mileage reside in the teens?
--- 20-21... close enough.

If so, you may be a candidate for WOTA.

If you rev on Corvettes and Vipers and your excuse is "I just want to see what they can do" you might be a candidate

Yup I've been suffering from that disease ever since I started driving . I would proudly display a WOTA sticker on my car, but I'm afraid it'd be too much of a cop magnet.

Excuse me? Did I tell anyone to come racing after me? If I got caught I would have delt with the consequences. And if I remember correctly, none of the tickets that night were for speeding they were for altezzas, blue lights and other things like that. So I'm INNOCENT...INNOCENT I tell you.

Well if they hold meets, I am sure all of the "members" would set land speed records getting there.

At least I would

Guilty of what? Driving my car fast? I came up on that cop at ~100 mph, if he wanted me he coulda had me...I can't outrun a radio. But to accuse me of almost getting the group arrested? I don't think so. If he had pulled me over he wouldn't have written me the ticket, and no one would have gotten arrested. Golden was rocking the hyper bulbs in his Altezza's and the dark tint I certainly did not put them there. To think that he wouldn't have gotten pulled over no matter what is decieving only yourself. I radio'd to Christine and was frantically trying to call Brett to warn them. I did my piece. I didn't have anyone else's number. If I had gotten pulled over I would have handled it accordingly. I was willing to play, I was willing to pay. Guilty? Yes of driving MY car too fast... nothing more, whoever wanted to tag along for the ride was taking the same chance I was.

This makes the speed contest ticket look like a joke. 30 days in jail + 120 hours community service including Gun Safety Seminars, and why weapons should not be kept in the house loaded.
Pistol Permit revoked, I am the shame of the NRA.
I keep my gun loaded when in the house, but when I go to the range I take the clip out and unload the rounds out of the clip. I don't want to mess with the gun laws. Not fun.

I did that yesterday, just in time to legally (barely) pass the motorcycle patrolman and that was on a tight, slow cloverleaf onramp with a big shock-eating dip at the bottom ...

i think its my duty to call out the atlanta boyz. we have a serious problem. at one meet they called five fulton county police on us.

too bad we were in cobb county by the time they responded. i dont think we need counseling, we need to be punished with automatic geo metro three cylinders.

They have so little power, I'd have it to the floor even when I'm slowing down.
