Odometer light

I just bought a 2002 SE and when driving at night noticed that
everything lights up fine on the dash except for the odometer.
I'd really love to have it fixed, but I'm afraid by the time the
service guy takes everything apart and puts it back together
NOTHING on the dash will work. Any advice, suggestions? THANKS!

That's cost saving feature of the Minima, no odometer light.

Just kidding, I have no idea...

On the 98 and 99 Maximas which have digital odometers, the backlight is always on, so something isn't right.

You're going to have to take it to a dealer. They will probably replace the whole cluster.

I doubt you have much to worry about at the dealer. It might have just been a defective light. They will replace it all to save themselves the time.
