talks about a supercharger made by nismo for the 350z and altima,, no mention of maxima though..

http://www.clublexus.com/forums/show...threadid=41323

here's the first post:

"I have been closely monitoring probably the best 350 Forum on the net and these guys (mostly people who have pre-ordered including myself) are "fiercely" digging up the latest "solid" info and upcoming future for the latest Z! In fact something I read there caused me to call my salesmanager to either confirm or deny the facts! She infact did "CONFIRM" the following: A performance arm of Nissan called "NISMO" which did infact developed the supercharger for the Xterra truck and has developed a supercharger for the allready "stout" Altima (an additional extimated 60-70 hp!!!) will have available shortly after first delivery of the 350Z (this fall/winter) a factory warrantied dealer-installed "SUPERCHARGER" for the 350Z with gains of 75-100 hp (including exhaust upgrades) added to it's final hp figure (you hearded here first people)
of........................285-hp!!! She confirmed what the forum has been saying for months, "This engine will easily accept supercharging and/or turbocharging at @ 100hp with very minor adjustments! And the Greatest news........all for between $1,200- $1,800!!! We are talking about a 360-385hp, Sweet A** ,Nissan Quality, Porsche crushing car for less than $40k (depending upon trim level as cheap as $32k w/ supercharger!!!) It's already gonna put shame to BoxsterS, and the like right out the box. But the expression on these 911 Carrera, Vette, M3 and the like owners is going to be f****** priceless! "

The hell with the SC, I want the new GT-R35 VQ35DETT to share some Twin Turbo luvin with the new Z and of course the rest of the Nissan line. Any car with a VQ35DE could potentially have the largest market for aftermarket products since Honduh. Maybe I'm overlooking a BUNCH of steps, but the potential is all there.

I was at my Nissan dealership yesterday and spoke to the sales manager (I ordered a ae shift **** kinda tore mine up trying to get it off.) and asked about the nismo parts. He said that they had been selling them for a long time and even gave me ordering books from 3yrs ago. I asked about the new Nismo being sold here and he said that yes there would be new parts for cars but nothing for the Maxima.
I was fu*kin mad. He said that not to many people race that car and that the Altima would have parts from Nismo. So I asked him to take a look outside and see what car I was driving and he just looked in aww and asked a few questions and said youd be better off with the other companies. JERK ***** FUC*A!!!!!! But I dont give a fuc* I juss hope this JERK was wrong.

I think anything would be better than Stillen's prices. They must be pretty proud of their products to charge as much as they do
