Maxima Calendar, Get Your Car In It! My email is pony87@yahoo.com THANKS

Hey everybody,

I am starting a calendar strictly for this club, therefore, you guessed it, only of maximas. Here's the deal though, I need pics. I know I can find some of the best pics of sweet rides on here. Everyone send me your best pics, calendar worthy of course. We will have a little poll once I get all the pics and post them. After the calendar is done, they will go up for sale for a great price!

GOOD LUCK!

JEEEZ! Calendar response is huge...more inside

Hey guys,

I am gonna think about ways to organize this whole thing more.....

Let's start with the email address. My email is pony87@yahoo.com. Please indicate that you are sending a pic of your maxima in the subject heading...I get alot of junk mail.....

Next, once I get enough pics that stand out, I will post them in one big post. People can vote on the 12 they like best....maybe even more if the response is huge...like a 16 month calendar or something.

Pepole are sending sweet pics, but some of the backgrounds aren't good enough for a calendar. Try not to have your garage in the background or people in there either. Good quality scans are cool, but if we wanna match maxima quality with calendar worthy of maximas, we need to get some original prints in the mail to me. You'll get them back of course!

Hit me up with some of your best pics and comments. pony87@yahoo.com

bastard, hehe. sometimes it's not worth the hassle but i saved 300 over tireracks price for my tires, but i'm sure i could have found some rims there but these are nice and weight 21lbs. i'm happy, but it's gonna cost like 100 for the mounting and balancing.

This picture would be perfect for a winter month. It's in BMP format and is zipped.

I have a suggestion on the calender we know there are only 12 months and we have more Maximas than that so we can have something like for

January have black maximas

Febuary green

March-Pebble Beige

April-red

May-white

etc,etc,.....

and have a collage of maybe 5-8 Maximas on each page per month or do a three year calendar and we can get more in....

here is mine....

or my sig pic....

Haha. I did not feel like going through all the trouble of having the tires mounted. It's hard to even find a shop around here that can even put 18' tires on. BTW my rims weigh 19.5 lb's, I hope my tires are light!

Re: Maxima Calendar, Get Your Car In It! My email is pony87@yahoo.com THANKS

I've done print work professionaly, so forgive me if I have a few questions.

1. How are you printing this? (Xerox digital production, or 4 color "plate" process"
2. What surface paper and what weight?
3. Having people post their pics here and saying "use this" is not worthwhile. If you want even a "good" print, you need a resolution no less than 150-200dpi. If you want a professional level print, you need to start with an image that's about 600dpi (sometimes only 300dpi will do).
4. Even if someone has a good-looking car, you need a professional looking photograph (garbage in = garbage out).

I don't mean to upset anyone with this, but I am interested in having a calendar and would like to be reassured that it is being done the right way.
