Therez gotta be some better picz than that out there. Those aren't really "calendar worthy" to be honest. Nice pics but not what you put in a calendar. TheBlue where's that pic of yours with the sun coming down in the background, I remember that waz pretty nice. Other than that people try to take some nice pics of your cars with some nice backgrounds, my car isn't that modded (as far as looks) yet and not even lowered or I'd take some nice pics of it and maybe do something with them in photoshop. Or the photoshop people maybe you can edit those pics and turn them into something much better.

Pictures from the web are going to make really crappy calendars if you print them out.

The web primarily uses a resolution of 72 dpi and some use 96 dpi. This is because most monitors only have a resolution of 72 dpi although some newer ones have 96 pi.

Printed material usually use a resolution of 150 dpi or better.
Newspapers usually print at about 128 dpi (85 lpi).
Most four color magazines print at about 266 dpi (133 lpi).
And fine arts books print at about 354 dpi (177 lpi).

So that means that if this is going to be a printed calendar, these webphotos are pretty much garbage. It will print out horribly. Physical photos need to be scanned.

I am prepared for criticism...please read

Hey guys and girls,

I am well aware that these pics aren't the hottest pics that I can find. These are just what fellow members are sending me in replies from the postings.

I am also aware that printed net pics will be crap! I am posting these pics, finding the top choices, then only taking the ones that I can have the original prints mailed to my door and directly blown up and printed.

Trust me, I can't convey everything to you guys on the board, but I have seen an example calendar, and these will look like the calendars you buy in the mall!

Have some faith here.....jk

THANKS

If you're sending a photo taken by a digital camera be sure to send it in it's raw format (e.g. no compression). It's not as good but definitely better.

Woah, that's an old small picture of my car.

What sort of shot are you looking for?
http://12.233.210.59/y2kevse/images has almost all my pictures.

Do you want me to take some new pics?

How do you submit pics to be considered? I have just taken some sweet full resolution digital pics that I was thinking about trying to make into a much better sig pic. Mine is not super modded but it is lowered and has konig wheels and tint and clears, etc. It comes out well in pic and not many people have modded pebble beige 95 GLE's. Well, that's my sales pitch, just let me know.

What if I was to take some very high resolution digital photo's, copy them to my computer and resave them uncompressed with a 500dpi resolution? would that work?

Actually i would like to be in it too if possible.
What if we take high res pix and go to photoshop and make them at least 600 dpi. Then email them to you will that work?

just cause you think they're ugly doesnt mean everyone does. although i personally dont like the trenz grills.

a picture of Supermachoman's car in the snow like in his sig would be perfect for a winter month.
