Stillen lip installation- why dont I have the screws in my fender???

I was reading on maximadriver about the how2 install the stillen Lip, it says there should be a screw on each fender thats the exact spot to screw on the lip. My problem is that I dont have those screws! There isnt even a hole where it says its suppose to be. I have screws on the fender but they are right next to the clear corner lenses which is way to high for the lip to be screwed on.

heres a pic of a guys stillen lip and the screws which I dont have that are on the lip and the only screws that I have are the ones above the lip

Use some stainless steel screws and make the holes by using a drill.

I discovered that too when I test fitted the lip. I drilled some holes and used rivets.

You're supposed to use Pop Rivets... that's what I used... but you can use screws instead.

you can use screws, not too long and pilot the hole first
ummm a good way to do it without putting many screws in the body of your car is to turn your wheel to the right and put one screw in the end of the fender hmmm lke the fender lip... and use double sided tape on the rest... and ofcourse put another screw on the other side

dude your car is looking better and better everytime I look

I have installed many types of lip on many different cars. I never seen a front lip with holes in it. Rivets or sheet metal screws will both work.

I was talking about holes in the fender, not holes in the lip itself. thanks

I didnt have holes. I had to drill holes & use the supplied screws. Use the self tapping screws.
