hehe not a bad burn at the end there. Burnouts are always fun though, not sure why but they always have been.

Sweet vid! But who the hell let out that scream right after the burnout? It sounded like a squirrel caught in a bear trap. Seriously I'm still laughing.

I was going to say something in my first post, but I agree that who ever that is they sound like a little girl.

When you burnout in tires which are just below drag radials, then you can say something. *cough* AVS Sport *cough* 180 AA A *cough*

You had to hold the E-brake to do a burnout in a 5-speed ?? Or was that something else that was locking up the back wheels

1. 3RD gen = LSD
2. 3RD gen = kumho ecsta supra
3. 4TH gen = cheap pepboy tires (notice the smoke show at my launch? )
4. My knock sensor may be messed up, were checking that tonight...

BTW, see the night video... http://www.frankencar.com/movies/mattsnight.mpeg

The reason I lost the first race was because my 2nd gear was slipping.

mine prob has the same rotational mass, darn heavy MOMO's... How are the T1-S's? I was considering either those or the Yokohama's last summer, discount tire carried Yoko, they didn't carry Toyo, that's the only reason why. How much were those anyways? Later.

yes but you start to move right away and you will only burn out with one tire when you pull the ebrake you stay in one spot and burn both tires and more smoke

Why do you only burn ONE tire when doing a non-ebrake burn out ?? This is new news to me

I absolutly love them! I went from AVS sports to these, and they are soooo much better then the Yok's. My friend has NT555's, they suck, and my other friend has Pirelli P8000's, and they don't even compare. At the track, I used to spin at 3000+ launches with the Yok's, but with these, I have to drop it at 5000+ to get themn to spin. I normally launch @ 4500 and if I don't slip it enough, I get enough wheel hop to break the dash loose! I paid $175 a tire from a partial sponsorship, but the cheapest retail I've found is $290 from victoriatire.com

Because you don't have a LSD. So once one wheel starts spinning it will just keep spinning. No torque will go to the non spinning wheel so the car just sits there.
