Just curious, how many maximas have you owned(I30's to)
Personally my first car was a 1991 se 5-speed and I loved it. 122,000 miles and still ran good, but it was totaled in a wreck
. Its funny my dad never liked japanese cars at all untill he drove my maxima. I looked and looked but couldn't find a 4th gen 5-speed in my area so I bought a 96 I30. My mom was looking for a car and was so impressed with my old maxima and current I30 that she got a 2k1 Maxima. How many maxes have you owned?

Two.
My first was a 95 GXE 5spd, I had it for two years until I found out that the odometer had been rolled back. Felt violated and got rid of it two weeks later and bought a 99 SE 5spd.

My first maxima is a 96 GXE black.... still own it.. sister is driving it now, 72000 miles on it now
My second Maxima is a 00 GXE Sunlite Sand... 35,000 miles on it now
I currently have the GF's car also... a 97 SE black on black... 52,000 miles

I've had 3 Maximas:
'97 SE Loaded- Pearl White/Black Leather. Kept for 6 months.
'00 SE Loaded- Sterling Mist/Black Leather. Kept for 1.5 years.
'02 SE Loaded- SuperBlack/ Frost Leather. We'll see how long it takes for me to get sick of this one.
We're just one big 'ol Max family. Mommma's got an '00 SE Loaded and Pop's has got an '00 SE Loaded as well. Our dealer we go to enjoys our business.

89 GLE with Heads-Up-Display, Digital Dash, Taupe with Maroon Leather. Bought it in 93 with 14k miles on it!! (actually inherited it...) That started my love affair with maximas. When I first got it, I dropped someone off at the airport in Phoenix, and onthe way out there is a long curve that puts you on to the freeway....I shot past a car at about 90 mph and entered that curve way hot! Bumped the brake, and viola!!! A 90 mph drift through that corner! Bout crapped my pants, and had jelly legs for a while after, but after that, that car and I were one!
96 SE, Pebble Beige with Black Leather....rekindled my love.
99 SE, Arctic White with Black Leather....an affair to remember!

I've owned 3 Maximas:
84 810/Maxima 5-spd
90 Maxima SE 5-spd
98 Maxima GXE Automagic
I am waiting on the 6th gen Maxima so it might be 4, got a new Honda for daily driving/commute since my mileage is rediculous, but I will be replacing my 98 GXE either mid 2k3 or 2k4 once it hits 200k, Its got right at 150k on it now. I am hoping the 6th gen Max will be a knockout and AWD would be a definite plus. If Nissan messes up the 6th gen, I'll prolly move up to something European and my 98 will be my last Max.

my 95 maxima was my mom's that i BOUGHT off of her, then i got my 2k2. i won't get another one when this is payed off though, i'm thinking 2002 m3 with SMG, sell the max. or keep the max, 98 SUPRA tt 6-spd, low miles, 875 RWHP
