That looks sweet. You interested in prototyping body kits for me? You work a lot faster than the company I use now.

I thought my kit would have been done by now too. Wait until he starts and see how long it takes. Maxima bumpers are different than most other cars, it's not as easy as you'd think.

He made it himself out of the Sarona front.

Looks awesome man, whoever did the finishing touches did a really good job, looks very smooth and looks like a good fit.

Details please...

How long did it take and more importantly what medium did you use? Fiberglass I assume? What type of fiberglass did you use and where did you buy it?

Further...

Also, I have never had luck with bonding Fiberglass to Polyurethane bumbers. Is this what you did? What is the best way to ensure a perminant paintable bond between the two?

Thanks

well it would have taken less then a week if i knew what i was doing before i started and would have been able to work on it with a decent amount of time, but i had never worked with fiberglass so i had to keep correcting my mistakes so it took me about 3 months of on and off work.

theres no way to do this, that is the downside to polyurethane. You can never add on to it. Its like a flexable plastic. so next time your mixing bondo or fiberglass do it on plastic. When it dries flex the plastic and thats basically why you can do it. the fiberglass wont flex and will crack.
