I Just Got My Front End in its a BMX Evo3, the Shop is Going to Start on it Tomorow, they said they have to cut the protection bar on the front of the car is that true or can they just cut some of it of. i dont like the idea that any front end accident will kill my engine. Anyway is $350 a good price to custom fit a bumper?? if u guys know anywhere where i can take it to have it done cheper in PHX let me know. also is there any company other than place racing where i can get a CAI?? if so let me know. thanx.

as far as a price to custom fit it, if they are painting it for that much as well that's cheap, but if that is just to fit it.. seems like a lot.

what's wrong with place racing's CAI that you want a different one, and no one else makes one as far as i know

No, its not painted thats why I thought it was a bit too pricey for that job. As far as the CAI how much do they run for? Which one is better out of the place racing and the other one he mentioned? and where can i get one, i checked w/ some shops in phoenix and they all told me they cant get stuff for the maxima, 300ZX, and 240sx.

 

Most people have the Place Racing type and have had good results with them. People dyno on a CAI and get upset because they didn't gain much. Don't let that get you down, on a dyno you don't get the blow by wind that you will on the freeway. Most parts for Nissan's you'll have to go online for.
