18X8 Tantrums, Silver, any comments? Weight was an issue but I should be about the same weight as stock (not taking into account rotational weight). Getting the Kuhmo 712 tires 235/40/18
Anyone have a similar setup with any comments on the ride (smoothness, ect...).

Tantrums aren't light. I used to have 17" Tantrums and they weren't light, so just imagine the 18s.

I prefer version 2 though. I'm a sucker for those rivets.

So matt, what are you doing with your Michelins then?

the 18s weigh a few lbs. less than my stock 17s and the 18" Kumho tires I got weigh the same as my Pilot Sport A/S so I figure I won't be adding much weight at all

a guy at discount is buying my Pilots (in return he's getting me a great deal on the rims/tires Discount tires destroyed whalentire's price, I don't even think they're making much $$)

I DO kinda like the Rivets on the twos, but the spokes don't go out as far out so the rim looks smaller, I think the 2s are a couple lbs. heavier but I'm not sure.

I'm not concerned about the trendiness of the wheel b/c I liked them before I even knew they were popular. I was about to get the Centerline RPMs in black 17" but I couldn't decide and I have far too many other things on my mind so I wanted to get this purchase out of the way. I'll post pics when they're on, should be Friday.

BTW my stock 2k2 wheels are on sale now.
