Cost for painting stillen lip

I searched and not much came up. Im just wondering what would the cost for just painting the lip? im going to do the installing and just want it painted. thanks

I bought the paint(2 pints=$80.00 CG2 paint code,Pebble Beige Metallic)and my local paint and body shop charged me only $50.00

wow thats a very good price. I just came from the shop and they are asking for $219 just to paint the lip! thats without installation, just painting

is that a normal pice? its sad that painting the damn thing cost more than the lip itself.

That's about right. Paint is expensive. Expect to pay anywhere from $140 to $180.

You need to find hook ups. Ask around and see if any of your friends have a connection to a body shop. You should able to get that painted for about $100.

Sounds like some of you guys are getting hosed!

Cost me $67 to get my lip painted, and like $39 to get it molded onto the body. (I aint takin no chances after what happened to my 1st lip )

I dunno. the estimate paper they gave me said the paint and materials are like $70 and they have a $56/h labor rate which totals to $219 to get it done.

Keep asking around. Body shop prices have too much variation. Do some more leg work or call around. You can really save some serious $$$.
