Titamium Mist Paint question.

I have a 1999 SE and I needed the rear bumper painted. I went and got it done (the first time) and matched the paint by the code given on the silver plate in the engine. When the bumper was done the color didn't match. So he redid the bumper to try to match it again using my gas cap as a reference. I couldn't leave the whole car its my only transportation. It looked better the second time but it was more of a cream color. Our family has taken our cars to this shop for years and always have been extremely satisfied with their body and paint work. Is this color hard to match up?? I have already spent $200 (which was a break) and I am going to have to spend more it seems. If he does it again he says the car will have to stay there and do some sort of match along the back end of the car. Not sure waht he was talking about but it seems he is going to paint more then just the bumper. CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME??? This missmatch is only noticed by me!! I am nuts when it comes to noticing things and, NO it is not just in my mind! I want this car to be perfect. I started doing Mods (about $2500 tax return check directly into it!) and want to do a body kit at some point (most likely Stillen) and want this thing to look awsome!

Sorry for being so long winded! I am losing my mind!

Some body shop will blend the paint in with the next body panel so you won't notice the sligh mismatch. It's almost impossible to get the same exact paint color via paint code due to the color variation even from the factory. You can have two brand new same color coded maxima parked next to each other and you can notice a little difference. Some body shop will use laser to color match or put it up againest the car to eye it.

Is your paint code KT03? If so, it's called Sterling mist. Not Titaminum mist
