maximas no more????

I hate to even bring up such a suckass subject, but one of my friends said he heard over the weekend that 2003 will be the last year for maxima. Of course i didnt believe him, so i thought i would take it to the .org........any comments on this validity???

Man I hope Nissan doesnt go back to the 4 year cylce like they use to have after the 5th gen.

1st gen= 81-84, 4 model years
2nd gen= 85-88, 4 model years
3rd gen= 89-94, 6model years wow they loved this one!
4th gen= 95-99, 5 model years not bad
5th gen= 00-03, 4 model years,not so good.

Where/Who did your friend hear it from? Unless it's from a trusted source, just brush it off.
