In my town, I know of only two other 4th Gen's, no other Maxs of any sort. You see the odd 3rd, 4th, or 5th gen, but they're extremely rare up here in Penetanguishene.

Maximas are pretty popular cars. I seen so many where I live, it's not even funny. However, almost all that I seen are stock. So far I have only seen about two, or three moded Maximas.

Oh, so that was you I passed last time I was in Philly?

Don't see many Max's around here in Detroit. Don't see many imports at all.

Hey Chris, how's Drexel treating you? They still giving people the infamous shaft?

Most are not modded tho..

Question: so if we see all these maxima's why is Nissan in financial trouble?
or i thought they were ?

In dallas area.....

I see all gens of maximas, but I've only seen 2 modded ones in the 2 years I have had mine. Where is everyone with the modded maxes in Dallas????? At the same time I like being unique, and having the sharp looking car in the crowd!

So it appears that people see maximas a lot.

That kind of throws out the arguement of people that say they buy maximas cause it's unique...

Iowa does NOT have a lot of MAximas. There are about 8 I see in my town of 25,000 people. If I go out into the country they get really rare. Makes it kinda fun b/c people don't know much about em and you can sneak up on them and blow their doors off. We do have about 30+ modded Honda Accords and Civics. I've raced them down main street from a stop until about 80 or so-I always win. That big noisy exhaust must not help too much.

You should move to KC

I live in KC and barely see any maxima's! The only ones I see are driven by old farts that have no mods. I love having a 5ht gen because I see soooo many 4th gens. Foreign cars in KC is a bad thing! That is alright....I love my max and it is fun whooping some domestic ****z!

In my area,

people saw me with one and said to themselves "I must get one too, because that kid is cool".

Prior to 1997 I have rarely seen a 4th gen. Maxima. After I bought mine I still didn't see any. A few months after I had mine, I have seen a whole bunch.

This must have been due to when I passed all of them on the highway and streets and they thought "a Maxima!?" and went out and bought one.

In Tampa there are also a ton. Must be 15 in my parking garage and there are 4 in my firm (if you count the two I own) But beware - just because my 2k doesn't look modded, doesn't mean its not! (intake and Cattman SS y).

There are many many many maximas here in memphis, only seen one modded, and bullseye's is modded also. A lot of younger people are getting into the fourth generations now though, I see them popping up with rims every day. Everyone and their momma here have 3rd generations, my girl is about to get one.
