Degreasing then power washing my engine, what else do I need to cover?

Degreasing then power washing my engine, what else do I need to cover?
I was told I have to cover my intake and coilpacks. Anyone know of anything else I have to cover before I spray the degreaser all over and power wash it down? I have a 96 max.

I know they have the plastic cover on it as is but I usually cover up the fuse boxes. Also you dont need to use a powerwasher. In fact many people would advise against it. Just use a regular hose and nozzle to get it off.

Replacement CV Axle doesn't have cap that covers seal. Is this OK? (pics included)
