Speed limiter?

What causes the speed limiter on 4th gen Maximas? Is it in the ECU of GXE's? Like if I took an SE ECU and put it in a GXE with the limiter, is the limiter then gone? Thanks.

It's the ECU. And you don't have a limited if you have an SE like in your sig.

SE and GLE's have no limiter. GXE with Security and Convienence package don't have limiters (except for Ben ).

GXE without S&C package have limiters.

That's what I thought. Well, if anyone wants to get rid of their limiter, I have 2 ECU's for sale in parts for sale. Just wanted everyone to know.

It's limited to around 115-120 or so. People say that when you hit the limiter, you know you hit the limiter.
