The wierdest thing happened with my PIAA Crystal Ion's. I have had about 3 pairs of these and never seen this before. The light is still kinda yellow (which doesn't really show in the pic), but has a definite HID looking purple light that is higher on the output light. You can see it in the pic below. I wish I could get the whole light to look like that!

Ever seen this before? I had to take a pic of it and show it to you guys before I change the bulb out.

I've been running PIAA Crystal Ion's for about 3 years now. I went through a period of about a year without them because I was a broke college student. They really don't last too long, but I like them so much I don't care ...

 

Where did you order them from?

 

The ones I have now I got from eBay. If you want to buy them new there is someone selling them on the FS forum or you can can check out www.autosupermart.com ... that's where I got my first 2 pairs from. The guy selling them on the FS forum is selling them much cheaper than autosupermart.com, but autosupermart.com is the cheapest (retail) place I've found on the web for PIAA.
