I am either gonna buy 2 12" CompVRs for $175 or a 15" Orion XTR for $150(its a year old or so). Which is the better sub? Please help, I'm buying tonight.

The orion is probably a little better but the 2 12's will be louder because they have more cone area. Back in high school i had 2 15" competition kickers and my friend had 2 15" xtr series 2 and they were both pretty equal. Both boxes were about the same size. I heard orion has a good warranty if you blow it.

Cool, thanks. Ya, Orion has a lifetime warranty on it. I think I'm gonna go ahead and get the Orion 15". I'll be running 300 watts RMS to it, do you think this will be sufficient? Thanks.

I hated my Kicker Comps. They're still sitting downstairs collecting dust. One of my JL 8W0s sound better than a 12" Kicker Comp lol

Hehe...throw the Comps in the box with my B pipe...LOL. I think I'm just gonna stick to my 2 JBL 12"'s. They ain't awesome, but hell, they're alright.
