Looking for I95 advice.....
#2
Just have a good radar detector handy.
Take I-495S to bypass I-95 through Wilmington. It's 65 there, vs. 55 on I-95 through the city, and you can seriously haul major azz. I've only seen a cop there once, and he was running always-on K-band. I picked him up 2 miles away.
I've had a bunch of kills through here, and have had both my Accord V6 and now my Maxima in excess of 110 just on this stretch. hehehe

Blu your right. When on I 95 South, just before the tunnels you'll see a I-895/I-95 split. Cops tend to park just beyond the turn on I 95 and the radar the whole turn from behind the bushes in the median. Also Maryland has recently added 3 Mustang GT troopers, a blue one white one and a red one (go figure). These cars tend to pace, I've also seen a Ford Probe GTV6 that has pulled over a car-its black with white racing stripes that go over the length of the body. All of these cars are unmarked.

watch out in delaware!!!! the mother****ers will actually step out from the median into the passing lane and put their hand out to stop traffic. they are very aggressive about enforcing the speed limit (read: collecting revenues)they are around every corner.
new jersey is ok just watch for other peoples brake lights when going around corners or over the crest of a hill. look out for construction zones. if you are cought in one they will tell you that the fine is doubled. that's how they got me, 12:00 am on a sunday with no construction in site. i called the courthouse and they told me that the whole county was a "construction zone" north and southbound. WTF!!!!
virginia, if ya get cought over 80mph it's wreckless driving.
south of virginia the road is pretty clear.
i have been driving to tampa fl. from hartford ct. 1-2 times yearly for 14 years ( the early years were with my parents) they first time i did it on my own i returned from tampa to hartford in 18 hrs. including all stops gas/food/bathroom. speeding is a must to make the trip shorter. 1300 miles at 55mph comes out to a very long 23.63hrs not including gas/food/bathroom stops.
take care and enjoy the road.

Thanks
Thanks for the input. Looks like I'll have to be carful. One more question....
Do you guys use your detector in VA?? I have the Bel980 (just got it) and it is supposed to be undetectable. Does that feature make it safe to use in states where radar detectors are illegal? What has been your experience?
