I just received call from my sister who brought a new car yesterday. She not realizes the car is more elaborate than she really needs and wants to exchange a different model. I thought there is a 5 day, no penality return rule on new cars. Anyone have infomation on this?

I think it is 3 business days. Each state is different but there should be something the dealer can do. It will take someone pretty sturn to do it though. The dealership will make it a big deal, and basically tell you that you can't do it. I would find out what the law is about returning a vehicle (get more info than I gave you) and then go down there. If the dealer begins to lie to you by telling you that it is not possible, then just use the I'll be contacting my attorney statement.

If she does not move fast she will lose about 3-4 grand very fast.
