You Have To Check This Out!!!

Thanks to MardiGrasMax I now have a video tour of my car. Click on the link in my sig and enjoy! Let me know what you think!

ps Before anyone says anything, the video was taken with my old rims on it. The pic in my sig is of my new wheels.

Nice.

The movie seems kind of stretched on my screen though. Makes it look a lil' weird.

The old rims were Racing Hart D6000 18x7.5, the new ones that are in the sig pic are 19x8 Axis Muse.

Weasel-I don't know what music it was, maybe mardigrasmax will post and be able to give you an answer!

I got the kit from the Hack Shack. They claim that they have done a 5th gen, but I don't think that they have. The kit fits but I was dissappointed with the final product so me and a friend custom made the kit from that point. I am running 8 1/2" Parker valves. The whole setup cost me about 2500 dollars and then the price began to rise once the custom setup came into play! Right now I am at about 3500 in the suspension alone!!! But it is finally where I want it and I am the only max tuckin rim that I know of!!!

wrecklessmax... alpesh.. he's had bags since 98 i think that they tuck all the way around.. you are the first 5th gen to tuck i believe, i know of a cat in arizona that alex did i think but i dont think he tucks because it was the same setup i had basically..

i cant wait to get either a custom setup down or a new kit that can come close to laying frame or at least sitting on the tires, whichever comes first.

No more air?

Did you take off your air suspension? If so why?

I can't wait for show season to kick off for me, I am competing in Hot Import Nights in New Orleans, LA on May 4! I will have everything done except for the paint and body work, that will come this summer.

Hey Blake,

How much do you think it will cost me if I want to get my key hole and antenna shaved? Some body shop guys recommend me not to do it. They said something about the weather play a part it in. Sometime it would look really nice, but other times it would look kind of botchy. What do you think?

I have an air suspension----->adjustable! The car is laid out on the ground in the pic.

They were almost 2 grand w/ tires (Falken Ziex), and they are in a hyper silver finish.

It should cost you too much too get those items shaved. They aren't big things, the hardest thing is going to be hooking up some kind of reciever to your existing antenna so that you will still be able to get radio reception, and as far as the weather goes. I don't think that the guys you talked to knew what they were talking about, if it is done right you won't have any problems.

keyhole and antenna shaving is easy.. about 350 for the two is pretty good pricing, and as long as they dont use BONDO and they weld the holes shut and do a complete repaint of the area you will have no weather issues.. any shop that wonders about their own work not standing up to weather is not a shop to deal with.
