I understand you would have to have exact bottle presure everytime to use it. And my car runs rich with just intake and exhaust, not lean. And can you control the fuel threw all the power band?

Sure!, but it wont help with the NOS. The NOS wont interfear with it either. It is just ment to be used for a NA car.

It is not just meant to be used for a NA car.
Supercharged/Turbocharged cars are the best candidates for the SFC. NA cars can benefit from the SFC but HP increase will be minimal.

Thats cool. I have to try some way to lean it out. It runs way to rich. you should find somewhere that sells 105 unleaded man, it runs great with the NOS.

It works well with NA cars too.

The NA car can be leaned out more than a boosted vehicle.

I'm more interested in the memory settings. Ideally, you want to have 1 fuel map during NA (lean) and 1 fuel map during nitrous (a little rich). I don't think the Apexi Super AFC has memory settings. I guess a fuel pressure regular can do the same thing, but you would have to manually adjust it everytime. With Field AFC, press few buttons. You are ready to go.

Thats not really how you should do it, IMHO. You would set up your motor to operate at peak power with an AFC, with out the NOS. Then set up the NOS so it will run a little rich, rich is better than lean. But not too rich or you loose all the NOS power and in extreme cases you can wash the cylinder walls of oil and cause excesive wear.

Propper NOS tuning is a pain in the a** with out a wide band 02 and some dyno time. Even with just my EGT and simple AF and my dynobuttometer its trickey. Its one of those things that it will work just fine for a while if its a little lean. But eventually it will break or cause excessive wear on your piston rings and valve seats that you will loose an excessive amount of compression, thats not good! Tune it right and you have nothing more to worry about than the guy with the SC (unless its a V2, ha). Bla bla bla, ok ill shut up now. hehe

too bad you guys couldn't use the JWT ECU....

Even though its expensive it takes care of all these problems. Almost all of the fastest nissans (sentra's, 300zx's, maximas,) use this ECU. But how are you gonna adjust the ignition timing? Everyone says the ignition timing on the VQ30DE isn't adjustable. I believe the rule of thumb is to retard timing by 1-2 degrees. Also the Apexi ITC won't work on the VQ30DE. Good luck!

This is what i heard too about the VQ engines not being able to have timing adjusted. HOw much power can a NA max expect outta this gadget? I'm thinking about buying one soon. I need more power!
